With her debut Telugu film “Sita Ramam,” the actress won the hearts of both critics and audiences. Thakur will now be seen alongside Vijay Deverakonda in the upcoming film “Family Star.” Ahead of the film’s release, the duo visited the Sri Yellamma Pochamma Temple in Hyderabad, with videos and pictures of their visit going viral on social media.
Thakur shared her experience on social media, posting videos and pictures from the temple. She captioned her post, “Family traditions, before ‘Family Star’ promotions… My parents always told me that before you start something big, take a moment and pray. If possible, visit a temple and offer up everything that’s on your mind. So, my ‘Family Star’ family and I visited the Balkampet Yellamma Temple in Hyderabad to pray for blessings as we gear up for promotions.”
“Family Star” is set to release in theaters on April 5, 2024, with Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The film is directed by Parasuram and has been shot in locations across India and New York. Anticipation for the film is high, and the makers recently shared the teaser.
Thakur was last seen opposite South superstar Nani in “Hi Nanna,” which performed well at the box office and is now available on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. On the other hand, Deverakonda was last seen in “Liger” opposite Ananya Pandey. Although the film did not perform well at the box office, Deverakonda is looking forward to a successful comeback with “Family Star.”
